their hectic lives now and again, and
the Radiance Retreat in Sedona, Arizona

It is a one-of-a-kind meditation vacation.
The Radiance Retreat in the Red Rocks, is a meditation intensive which promises time to rejuvenate, recharge and reflect at one of the most enticing desert hideaways in Arizona – magical Sedona. Reconnect with your spirit, awaken your full potential, and regenerate your being.
Sedona is a place that inspires - where majestic red rock monuments soar above the juniper-covered hillsides, and where you’ll feel the expansiveness of creation as you gaze into the clear skies.
"The retreat exceeded my expectations: I just loved it. I receive a lot of power and insight in nature … surrounded by such beauty. It was much more powerful than I had anticipated." Liz G., Phoenix, AZ

Radiance Retreat Facilitators:

She’s an explorer of the inner and outer worlds and has been meditating since 1989.
Deepak Chopra, Debbie Ford, Gary Zukav, and Byron Katie have asked her to help them share their knowledge and talents with the world. She’s developed mind/body health centers, self-discovery programs, curriculum, and events for each of them worldwide. She has been fortunate enough to become immersed in their wisdom and knowledge.
After eight years working at Deepak Chopra's center as the Education Director, Sarah journeyed to India to meditate in an ashram for six months. She returned to the states to become a two-year resident in a Zen Buddhist training center. She has traveled thousands of miles through Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, sometimes by bicycle, in search of the secrets of this world and answers to the mysteries of this life.
Sarah has been the director of the Sedona Meditation Training Company since 2005. She leads meditation classes, retreats and gatherings throughout Arizona and is known to many as the face of mainstream meditation. She shares her discoveries of expanded states of awareness and inspires her students to still their mind, experience present moment awareness, come to know their true essence, and live a truly fulfilling life.
During the summer of '68, when the Beatles discovered meditation and Maharishi Mahesh Yogi became a household name, Babs Whelton began her journey to learn the practices of higher consciousness and the diverse expressions of spirituality. This teenage interest soon became a lifelong inquiry into Eastern philosophy, yoga and meditation.
Years later, after studying with various teachers and learning a variety of techniques, she attended a spiritual retreat led by Drs. Deepak Chopra and David Simon. During the course, she participated in a Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga class and this consciousness-based style of yoga resonated deeply within her.
Wanting to share this style of meditative, mindful movement and deep, flowing breath with others, Babs became certified by the Chopra Center for Wellbeing as a Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga teacher. Dynamic motion, stillness of spirit and clarity of mind produce and promote the best that yoga has to offer and Babs feels truly honored to have the opportunity of sharing this with her students.
Marty Birrittella is a long-time meditator who has made it his priority to immerse himself in the spiritual life. He lived in an ashram (a meditation community) for many years, and is well-versed in the effects of meditation and expanded awareness.
He was the founder and president of several successful well-known businesses. When he turned 41, he retired and was able to fully devote himself to his spiritual practices.
Marty has turned to painting and writing, and calls himself one who "paints by ear" as he really listens to his spirit and is guided by that. He is a gifted facilitator who loves to work with others and share his approach of the practice of self-inquiry. He reveres nature and the outdoors and does a walking meditation everyday in the Wilderness. He also paints by ear.
